Mistlin Gallery offers Children and Adult Art Classes

Children’s art classes are offered at the Mistlin Gallery, sponsored by the Central California Art Association and the City of Modesto Parks and Recreation department for children 3 to 17 years of age.

Mommy and Me is for 3 to 5 year-olds and runs Jan 20-Feb 10 and Mar 3-Mar 4 on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon,  $40 for 4 sessions.

My First Art Class is for 5 to 7 year-olds from Jan 20-Feb 24 and Mar 3 to April 7 on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. $60 for 6 sessions.

The Science of Art is for 8 to 13 year-olds and runs Wednesday, Jan 13. 3:30-4:30 p.m., $20 for one session, and Wednesday, Mar. 17, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., $20 for one session.

Fun with Painting is for 14-17 year-olds and is on Thursdays,Mar. 11 to Apr. 1, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., $40 for 4 sessions.

Oil Painting is for ages 18+ years and is taught on Thursdays, Jan 7 to Feb 25, 1 to 4 p.m., $40 for 6 sessions, and Thursdays, Mar. 4 to Apr. 22, $40 for 6 sessions.  This adult class is at the Senior Citizens Center at 211 Bodem Street, Modesto.
