Sponsorship Deadline for Food Film Festival is February 5th
The Modesto Reel Food Film Festival is the oldest and largest food film festival in California.  If you are an individual or business that would like to sponsor the festival and gain positive wide-spread community exposure for your efforts, please contact Bob at the museum office, 209-236-1333. Pony Express Anniversary – Mail Art Deadline is March 5th
Be sure to get your pony express mail art in by March 5, 2010. As of February 1st , mail art has arrived from 13 countries. You can see them on the new online exhibit, and find full details for participating on the museum web site, including lesson plans for teachers. If you need inspiration for your own mail art, have a look at Jennie Hinchcliff and Carolee Wheeler’s book Good Mail Day: A Primer for Making Eye-Popping Postal Art, available online and at bookstores.
