The Body Electric - The Art Show - February 12 through March 20, 2010 at Lyles Gallery, CSU, Fresno

The Body Electric - The Art Show - February 12 through March 20, 2010  at Lyles Gallery, CSU, Fresno.  A Stellar Gallery exhibit produced in collaboration with Ruth Griffin and the Portable Dance Troupe. 
 
Works by... Jonathan Bock, Franka Gabler, David Hoffman, Toby Raetze, Nancy Robbins, Gregory Royse, Rivka Schaffner, and Jessica Sweat.
 
The exhibit features works inspired by the classic poem by Walt Whitman, by the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, and by the beauty of the human form. The Art Exhibit is open to the public from Noon to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, and for one hour before curtain during performances. Admission to the Art Exhibit is Free.

Portable Dance Troupe - Ruth Griffin, Artistic Director
For over twenty five years presenting the valley with modern dance ranging from the cutting edge of the avant garde to lyrical modern dance to contemporary ballet. Each season works are presented from nationally renowned choreographers and resident faculty. The programs are entertaining, thought provoking and emotionally engaging.
