| | March is Membership Month Among other reasons, memberships are important to the museum so we can show potential benefactors that we have broad-based community support. The good news is, within 30 miles of downtown Modesto live about 1.2 million people, and we have 56 members. The potential for growth is huge. Our grant proposals are that much stronger when we can show an even larger number of members from the community. In a way, your membership counts twice. Please join the museum. You can be a museum member for as little as $5 and up to $75 a year. You decide what you would like to offer. Click here for a membership form, or see the museum web site and click Memberships, for more details. |
| | Art Safari Suggestion On your next trip to Los Angeles, go on an art safari or art pilgrimage to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and see Chris Burden's Urban Light. More than 200 old city street lights have been turned into an outdoor installation. You can visit for free. |
